Privacy policy for Tiny Zoo: Idle Animal Tycoon

Tiny Zoo: Idle Animal Tycoon (“the app”) is made by Goosey Games, an independent game developer based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have. If I make meaningful changes, the date above will change.
What the app collects
- Device identifiers. Your device's advertising ID, used by Google AdMob to show ads and measure how they perform.
- Approximate location. A rough, city-level location worked out from your internet connection (your IP address), used to show ads relevant to your region. The app never asks for, or uses, your precise GPS location.
- Usage and diagnostic data. Things like session length, crash reports, and basic device information (model and operating system version), used to find bugs and keep the app running well.
The app does not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location, and there are no accounts to sign up for.
Advertising
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Where you have given consent, AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show personalised ads. If you haven't given consent, or you withdraw it, you'll see non-personalised ads instead. These are based on general context rather than on you.

Consent, and how to withdraw it
When you first open the app, you'll be asked whether you're happy to see personalised ads. You can change your answer at any time from Settings → Privacy inside the app, which lets you withdraw or update your consent. The change takes effect straight away.
In-app purchases
The app offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are handled entirely by the store you downloaded the app from (such as Google Play), and I never see your card or payment details. The store shares an anonymised purchase record with the app so it can unlock what you've bought.
Where your data lives
Your game progress is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere, and I have no way to see it. Deleting the app deletes your save data with it.
Children
The app is rated 13+ and is not directed at children. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has been using the app and their data may have been collected, contact me and I'll sort it out.
